The ageing of red wines in Acacia is relatively new, as it has been used mainly for maturing white wines.

For Volteo wines we wanted to add  something different to the ageing in American and French oak, and part of the wine was in contact with Acacia for some time.

This type of wood respects the fruit character in wines and incorporates a tasteful and delicate influence with floral notes and an enjoyable roundness.
